Growing orchards: building communities
We support schools and communities to transform urban spaces into productive orchards. We believe that communities thrive when engaged with growing, harvesting and eating their own food.
Fighting fruit waste
Our scrumping project rescues fruit that might otherwise be wasted. We turn our fantastic local resources of apples, pears and plums into delicious juices, cider, vinegar, chutneys and jams.
Through late summer and autumn our apple pressing is done in the open in Stanmer Park. Everyone is welcome to come and watch and chat with the team.
Support us by donating your home-grown surplus, buying our products or taking part in our fun fruit harvesting and juicing activities.
The bounty of perennials: Our forest gardens project
Embark on a journey of sustainable food cultivation, focusing on the beauty and resilience of forest gardens and perennial landscapes. Our goal is to inspire a shift towards diverse and perennial gardening practices. fostering ecological harmony, biodiversity, and the exploration of unique flavours.
