How to Play

Each puzzle presents a grid of numbered circles called islands. The number on each island tells you exactly how many bridges must connect to it. Your goal is to draw bridges between islands until every island has the correct number of connections.

Bridges must follow a few simple rules:

• — Bridges run in straight lines, either horizontally or vertically — never diagonally.
• — At most two bridges can connect any pair of islands.
• — Bridges cannot cross each other
• — When you're done, all islands must be linked together in one connected group — you should be able to travel from any island to any other by following bridges.

Tips & Strategy

New to Bridge puzzles? Here are a few pointers to get you started:

• — Start with the big numbers. An island showing "4" with only two neighbors must have double bridges to each — those are guaranteed moves.
• — Watch for islands with one neighbor. If an island has only one possible connection, all of its bridges must go there.
• — Think about isolation. Before placing a bridge, ask: could this cut off part of the grid from the rest? Keeping everything connected is key.
• — Use the Hint button if you get stuck. It will first check your board for mistakes (and remove any incorrect bridges), then suggest a logical next move.
