Ordinary Day
Brian Allison
“Ordinary Day” is a heartfelt Americana song about how an ordinary moment can become life-changing. Inspired by the day Brian met his wife, it’s a reminder that the moments that matter most often come unexpectedly.

Ordinary Day is a collection of songs about the moments that quietly shape a life. Written over several years and recorded with a close circle of collaborators, the album explores love, family, perseverance, and the unexpected turns that transform an ordinary day into something unforgettable.
Blending Americana storytelling with country and roots influences, the record moves from reflective ballads to hopeful, forward-looking songs. Throughout the album, Allison’s songwriting centers on the everyday experiences that connect us all—finding love, holding on through difficult seasons, and recognizing the beauty in the life unfolding around us.

Hearts Don't Break Themselves by Brian Allison Co-writer - Brianna Bollinger Producer, mixed, mastered by Jason Bobo
Brian Allison is a Nashville-based Americana singer/songwriter originally from the Chicagoland area and a two-time Josie Music Award winner—earning Americana Artist of the Year (Male) and Americana Song of the Year for “Worth Breaking.” A full-time musician since 2016, Brian carries on a deep family legacy of music. His grandfather, Lynn Allison, sang and played saxophone and clarinet in the Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band, and his grandmother, Gloria Van, was a celebrated big band vocalist. Brian’s father, a talented multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, was both his mentor and collaborator, shaping his early love for music before his passing in 2013. In 2024, Brian released “Music City” with his four children, marking a career highlight. In 2025, he toured the U.S. and Europe, performing at the Longhorn Festival in Denmark, opening for James Otto, and earning radio play overseas.
