You can create your product description to speak directly to vegans. Now, does this separate you from non-vegans, yes! There\u2019s no key information that speaks to a specific target.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>Let\u2019s look at a product description example.<\/p><p>The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal+ does a fantastic job of speaking to its target audience. The V10 Animal+ clearly indicates it&#8217;s for pet owners throughout the product description.<\/p><p>Their &#8220;in-the-box&#8221; feature speaks to a lot of pet owners directly. The motobar cleaner head and hair screw tool speak directly to their target audience.<\/p><p>Anyone that has a pet with long hair knows it&#8217;s a hassle to deal with hair. They don\u2019t tell the reader anything. <strong>They don\u2019t bring value<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Every business owner thinks their product is an excellent product, but that doesn\u2019t give a reader a reason to buy it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It becomes a less persuasive product description when we hear these bland phrases because we&#8217;re so accustomed to hearing them ourselves. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Instead of using these bland phrases use phrases that relate to your product and highlight why it&#8217;s an excellent product or is the best on the market.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c53a3d8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c53a3d8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-medium\">Build trust<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b4b5a5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7b4b5a5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any new product we see, we don\u2019t exactly know if it\u2019s going to hit all the promises it made to us &#8211; this is where building trust comes in. <strong>Trust can be seen in a few different ways but the main one is social proof<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">T<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">his could be comments, reviews, or testimonials from your customers. But adding <a href=\"https:\/\/sproutsocial.com\/insights\/social-proof\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">social proof <\/a>can be the chicken or the egg situation.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What comes first? <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Getting social proof doesn\u2019t have to be hard. You could offer your product for free to a few select people in exchange for using their responses.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> You could also take to a trade show or exhibit and have people view the product in person with you and get their response after.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Building trust is a valuable tool for making your ideal customer say yes, to purchasing<\/strong>. It gives them confidence that the product will work and they sympathize with customers that have left a good review.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Let\u2019s look at a product description example.<\/span><\/p><p>Again, let&#8217;s continue with our Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal+. Dyson does a great job of adding social proof throughout their description.<\/p><p>The first headline has a rating and reviews underneath to clearly indicate the number of people that have used and liked the vacuum.<\/p><p>If you continue down to the next block there is a full part of social proof with a rating and more reviews again.
