Register for TD Summer Reading Club

Children 0 – 12 years are invited to join TD Summer Reading Club. It's free! By participating, children complete challenges that encourage reading to prevent the summer slump and have fun this summer!

How It Works:

  • Sign in or create an account with Beanstack

  • Join the TD Summer Reading Club through your Beanstack account between June 1 – September 8, 2026

  • Choose how you will participate:

    • Visit any Brampton Library branch to pick up a bingo card suitable for your child's age group (0 – 5 years or 6 – 12 years).

    • Participate online through the account you create when you register.

  • Complete challenges any time from anywhere.

  • If you choose to participate with a printed bingo card, please visit your favourite Library branch regularly to report your progress with your printed bingo card. 

  • Earn chances to win prizes by participating online or with your bingo card throughout the summer!

Participate in the Teen Summer Reading Club for chances to win awesome prizes like a KODAK Mini Shot 2 instant camera and photo printer by reading, crafting, trying Library programs, exploring your community, and more! 

How it works:

  • Sign in to Beanstack or create an account starting on June 1st.
  • Earn badges for completing different challenges – finding new books to read, trying out library resources, and exploring outdoors. Each badge will give you tickets to be entered into bi-weekly draws for prizes!

How it Works: 

  1. Sign up or visit any library branch to register in person at a registration station.  
  2. Complete the Adult Summer Reading Club activity bingo online - the first complete row and the entire bingo will each gain you an entry into the grand prize draw.
  3. You can also participate offline by going to any branch to register and receive the printed challenge sheet. The challenges are the same as the online ones.
  4. Sign up for the Summer Soirée happening on June 26th to enjoy an evening of entertainment, activities, and socializing at our South Fletcher's branch. This Adult Summer Reading Club kickoff event is for ages 19+.

2026 Summer Club Prizes

Complete all 5 challenges for 0-2 years to earn a free book! 

Register by July 13th to be automatically entered into our early bird draw for a turtle water mat. 

Complete all challenges on the 3-5 years bingo card to be entered into the grand prize draw for the Yoto Mini + Disney Classics & Pixar Bundle. 

Register by July 13th to be automatically entered into our early bird draw for a scooter and helmet. 

Complete all challenges on the 6-12 years bingo card or complete the online challenge to be entered into the grand prize draw for a Nintendo Lite and Super Mario Bros Wonder. 

Register by July 13th to be automatically entered into our early bird draw for a scooter and helmet.  

For each completed challenge, participants can earn a ballot into bi-weekly prize draws. If participating using the print bingo cards, come into any Brampton Library branch to report on your challenge progress. If you are participating online, you will earn ‘tickets’ for each completed badge and can choose which prize draws you would like to enter. 

Early bird prize:  

Register for the Teen Summer Reading Club by July 13th to be entered into the early bird draw for a Frigidaire personal fridge. 

Bi-weekly prizes: 

For every badge you complete, you'll earn 1 ticket into the bi-weekly prize draws. Apply your ticket to any of the prize draws. Take note of the draw date, as some of the prizes are drawn later in the summer! 

Grand Prize: 

For a chance to win the grand prize, a Kodak Mini Shot 2 instant camera and photo printer, you must complete a row on the bingo card. You’ll earn a second entry by completing the whole bingo card. If you are determined to have cheated on any of those challenges, you will no longer be eligible for the grand prize.    
 
Grand prize draws will take place after the program is completed in September.   

Winners' accounts will be reviewed by library staff to ensure that challenges have been completed appropriately.   

If your name is drawn as a prize winner, we will contact you by email and/or phone to let you know. You will have four weeks to pick up the prize or contact the library to let us know when you will be able to pick it up. If we have not heard from you after four weeks, we will draw another winner.

The Summer Soirée is our annual Adult Summer Reading Club kickoff event offering an evening of entertainment, activities, and socializing. Attend the Summer Soirée to hang out with other readers, enjoy live music, customize a keyring using our makerspace equipment, play games, enjoy light refreshments, and possibly win a prize. The 2026 Summer Soirée will be held on June 26th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at our South Fletcher's branch. 

 

There are no minimum (or maximum) reading requirements. We just want you to have fun reading this summer!
