NYC's current benefits screening infrastructure represents a mature but increasingly constrained "rules as code" implementation. The WeGovNYC BPMN Demo demonstrates how the capabilities of the free and open source Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) standard can be utilized to deliver a rules as code solution that offers outstanding functionality, maintainability and observability.
