It's that time of year. Nights get longer. Shadows get darker. This is the Big Noirvember.

This year, the job's tougher: You need to watch 30 noirs in 30 days. This is no Long Noirvember, doll face. It's the Big Noirvember now. You'll need to be scrappier. Quicker. Smarter. And no cheating, wise guy! Watch these pictures between November 1, 2024, and November 30, 2024.

Pick one moving picture from each category below. Otherwise, pick your poisons. Mix it up with classics (released 1941 to 1958) and neo-noirs all you want. Watch something you never saw before, or revisit an old favorite. Use your own judgment on what counts as "film noir." Use the lists linked below for ideas—but follow your nose.
