11 years. Big props to Cinemonster for hosting HOOPTOBER once again. Thank you. I'm going to do my best to adhere to the thoughtful and inventive guidelines, but have a feeling that this year's selections might go a little rogue. I've already broken my personal rule of only selecting films that are first time watches. An exception must be given for a 50th anniversary screening of Tobe Hooper's masterpiece THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE at the newly renovated Music Box Theatre. I cannot resist seeing one of the best horror films of all time as my first time back in those freshly minted seats.
