Classic Film Challenge 2025

Welcome to the 8th annual Classic Film Challenge! The challenge was originally created by Christian Alec, then run by Aurora, and I took over in 2022.

This year I'm trying to channel my disappointment in current events by creating a challenge celebrating some of the pioneering and groundbreaking women in film, both in front of and behind the camera. Otherwise, as with the previous two years, things are organized in roughly chronological order, and we have the return of paragraphs about each of the prompts in the notes if you're interested in reading them – with the obligatory warning for being wordy. :)
