As per the subtitle, this is my third time joining this annual Letterboxd challenge! 🥳 Despite my religious upbringing, Halloween and horror movies have always been dear to my cold heart. 👻 I've enjoyed the last 2 iterations of the challenge, especially because it encourages the participants to watch a variety of movies they'd never consider seeing or never even heard of before those movies are included in the challenge. This 11th turn is no exception as I found it harder to fill many of the categories and also because the initial Halloween watchlist I prepared weeks ago didn't meet many of this year's criteria. 😅 But challenge accepted, Cinemonster!

As with last year, I am prioritizing first-time watches in fulfilling the criteria. BUT notable exceptions are for the franchise — I've seen The Omen years ago and The First Omen in theaters when it came out — and the 2-different cuts — I've seen the "Assembly Cut" of Alien³ early this year, so I'll be going for its theatrical cut — criteria.

For the "6 countries" criteria, I'm excluding from the count films that are solely produced in the USA and countries that are part of this year's criteria, India and Italy. I'll still count my selections from these countries to the "countries" criteria but as a bonus since they fulfill another criteria. I'm also including an entry from my home country, the Philippines.
