Hoop-Tober 5.0: “HELP ME I’M TOTALLY STILL AlIVE AND SAVEABLE!”

I’m a little disappointed in this one, but also pleasantly surprised. The killer is just some guy, but he uses a fucking drill which is cool and carries some particularly phallic themes with it. The friends are kind of fun to watch (not just for their bods you fucking perves) because of the possibilities that could of and honestly should have happened. With a female director at the helm I thought we would get a very smart and fun slasher. Sadly all of the character just bumble around until they are killed or saved by Valerie. I was hoping for them to sort of join forces and try to fight off the drill wielding menace. We don’t get this till the very end, which is a shame.

I did love Valerie chasing the killer down with a machete. That was badass.

It’s a film of lost potential sadly. As a great man once said: “man this is dumb.”

At least it was fun sometimes.

Ps. Is it weird when a female director films naked chicks all showering together? Just something I was pondering about while watching.
