Hoop-Tober 5.0: not really a horror movie, but I also don’t really care. It’s got evil in the name!

My list: boxd.it/216qg

I’m appalled that I haven’t seen any of Orson Welles filmography yet and I got to say that this is a hell of an introduction.

When Orson gets his hands on a crane or a dolly, he is a goddamn force to be reckoned. The car driving along side as Vargas and his wife walk down the street or the bar fight scene are beautiful examples of god’s work being done by a mortal human.

The characters were also surprisingly great, as I find in older movies they tend to be bland. Orson Welles just steals the show in every scene as this crooked cop with a wieghted past.

It’s a gosh darn master piece.

Film 21/35.
