The found footage sequences were really top tier, the atmosphere is creepy and I thank god that they didn’t try to explain the backrooms.

I bow to Robert De Niro. This is truly his best performance and might be the best performance in a movie I've ever seen. Awakenings tells a captivating story with likeable characters. Only a few movies work without a bad guy. Here everybody is trying their best to help everyone.
