Hoop-Tober 5.0: MICHAEL HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET UP THERE?!?!?

This movie is a real piece of work. For the first 40 minutes I was bored out of my goddam mind. The cold open was nice, but everything that follows was just mind numbing. We see all these new characters that I just didn’t care for. At one point in the movie I started to question why even have Laurie Strode return? She had such a unceremonious exit from the franchise so I guess they felt as if they needed to bring her back? Idk. 

Then the last 40 minutes happened and I was on the edge of my seat. Easily one of my favorite stand offs between the final girl and the killer. The kills were brutal and the fighting was tense. After watching the brawl unfold I can easily say I’m now excited for this reboot coming out. Jamie Lee Curtis is one of the best things to happen to this franchise. However the exclusion of Dr. Loomuis is a bit of a misstep.
