i'd say never pick up a stranger but in this case it was jacob elordi so i get it
I think the only way I would pick up a hitchhiker was if he looked like Jacob Elordi.
must a movie be good? is it not enough for it to have jacob elordi being hot, insane and friends with a fake ass chimpanzee?
genuinely isn’t that bad of a movie if you play blue jeans by lana del rey on a loop in your head while staring at jacob elordi
2 minute interview with the real guy more intriguing than the hour & a half film . Justice for Spanky.
Same premise as The Passenger (2023) where we follow two different types of characters on a road trip and enjoy the character dynamics, but there's a third passenger bringing unpredictability into the mix; Spanky the chimp.
It started strong but got really flat in the middle. Spanky doesn't do much, he just fades into the background. Good acting from the two leads but Jacob Elordi is the standout. I didn't find the character dynamics that interesting or fresh though. Questionnable soundtrack choices. Hated the voiceover. Unsatisfying ending. The real life interview at the end was more interesting.
