Filmmaking at the Oscars

There's little that the Academy loves more than films about film or filmmaking. The Academy loves their "power of film" stories and so it's pretty common for one of the major contenders to be a film about film. These are films where the art of film and filmmaking specifically plays a significant role in the story that managed to receive and Oscar nomination.
