A group of friends were on their holiday on a private yacht. Unfortunately, the yacht hit the reef at the middle of the sea, bringing everyone into the sea. What's more, a shark with genetic mutation attacked them. The shark was huge, with bad temper and mania. The group drifted on the sea, in danger of the attacks from the shark and even more challenges.

Bad bad bad bad bad shark movie. Handful of young people trapped out at sea when they knock their little boat over, feeding time for the great white with CGI angry face. Be careful ever watching more than one Chinese creature feature horror movie made in the past 5 years, because they're all the same and they're all shit in a can. If you have to check one out for yourself, I understand the curiosity, give it a chance, but just know beyond that that you've seen one, you've seen 'em all. sometimes I want to ask myself what the hell I'm watching.
The CGI shark with wobbling fin and moments when I couldn't tell what was happening on the screen definitely hurt my enjoyment a little bit, but tbh I've seen a lot of cheapo shark movies, so I've learned to look past the lesser effects and kind of see what the filmmakers are going for, rather than what the budget restraints have forced them into....but yeah, there were a few hilarious moments because of the goofy cg shark as well.
Look at that CGI’d flappin’ shark fin go - zigzagging all around. As for shark cinema standards go, this jam was a major clown. I know a shark attacking you and your pals is a real bummer, but these swimming salty snacks cry too damn much. Sometimes the crying goes on for minutes. C’mon, this movie isn’t even 80 minutes long, seal up those waterworks. Plus, what’s with every victim resurfacing one last time after being attacked just to get pulled back down. It happened almost every time. Die with some variety. Oh, and this Killer Shark gets serious air time and shows good form when going in for the kill. This shark is like a dolphin, Yo.

base competency is there, somewhat, but it's flailing. the filmmakings poor, but the things it goes for, like inducing claustrophobia and fear, actually succeed most of the time.
so whose to call a bad film bad if it does what it's supposed to? i think this was uncomfortably real more than it was not good.

I normally enjoy Chinese creature features. They’re short, they’re light easy watches, and they remind me so much of the old SyFy Originals that I miss immensely, just with subtitles.
However Killer Shark, also called Death Shark, which deals with a group of college kids out on a yacht that gets overturned and they must survive not only the fridget waters but a rather large killer shark, is just not good. At all.
The bad cheesy CGI for the shark is definitely there for that SyFy Original flavour I like, but the movie itself takes itself way way too seriously for such bad cheesy CGI, so there’s no real fun factor here, even the death scenes are pretty lame,…
The title for this is excellent because it prepares you for the generic bullshit you're about to get into. It's incredibly bland and mediocre with nothing fun to offer but delivers on the title. There's a shark. It kills. Killer Shark. After seeing a fuck ton of shark movies I really don't know what else to say about this one.
