This is a list of all the movies I have rated 5 stars on Letterboxd. All of these films hit me really hard on either an emotional or intellectual level, often a combination of both. Many display impeccable craft, while others contain flaws I can easily overlook because I enjoy them so much. Some of these movies I could easily watch over and over again, while others require more time, energy, and thought to consume. I notice that many of my favorite movies come from a time when I was a young adult, just becoming a serious cinephile and developing more understanding of the wide world around me, which I'm sure many others notice with their own personal favorites.
