you know I was skeptical that mrs harris would be going to paris but then she went to paris and I lost my shit
can't wait for the next movie in the mrs harris cinematic universe where she fights emily in paris

mrs. harris: *goes to Paris*
haters: *cereal spit-take*
I fucking love British feel-good comedies made primarily for retirees, and I won’t apologize for it!!!
listen … this is crazy to admit … ahhh here goes … i have a private list of every 2022 movie i’ve seen ranked purely by personal enjoyment. right now, Mrs. Harris is at #4. she’s above Crimes of the Future, above RRR, above both The North/Batman, above a total of ~40 others. i think i enjoyed it so much because Isabelle Huppert is SO mean as Lesley Manville’s Phantom Thread character and Lesley Manville is SO charming as Paddington and the beautiful man from Emily in Paris is SO smart because he wears glasses and beige clothes!
AND because it has quite a few thoughtful things to say about perception/facade/reality — one may assume this is another frivolous entry…
when Mrs Harris got to Paris I was like work bitch slay the maison down, mon amie!!
redownloading duolingo to pick back up on my french lessons with the little green owl as we SPEAK!
