This one has been on my watchlist for a long time. I kind of regret waiting so long to watch it. It's a beautiful movie (heart-shatteringly so) but it's also intertextually important if you watch current Thai queer series.
I definitely recommend it but adjust your expectations for the ending considering it's a movie from 2007.
Watched for the Language Challenge 2026.
As a translator, I *had* to go and see it even though normally this movie wouldn't have been on my radar. I was pleasantly surprised: it was rather good! Alex Lawther is really good and I was happy to see Riccardo Scamarcio again.
