Here we fucking go. This is my personal sequel to 2014s Shocktober Challenge where I just watched 31 horror films, whatever I wanted with no rules.

Here is his list for this year.
You will also find info there and who else takes part in the fun!
Why the odd title for my list? Well at the core of my list are absolutely all The Ring flicks I was able to find over the years.
Of course I will review them all, like I always do. But this year I really can't say if I will be able to actually finish…

This list will probably change over time but I will lock it as soon as September 15th hits.
Here are the
QUICK EASY RULES:
5 Franchises (2 films from 2 franchises)

5 decades
5 films from before 1970
5 slasher films
5 monster movies
Aaaaaaaaaaand 1 Tobe Hooper Film(There must ALWAYS be a Hooper film)
-review them all.(eek)
Here is my checklist:
- (At least) 5 Franchises: The Ring, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Saw, Friday the 13th, Scream, Alien

- 3 films from director Hideo Nakata
- 3 films from director Wes Craven
- (At least) 5 decades: 20s, 30s, 50s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s
- 5 films from before 70s: Dracula ('31), Dracula's Daughter ('36), The Deadly Mantis ('57), Murders in the Rue Morgue ('32), The Hands of Orlac ('24), The Black Sheep ('56)
- 5 slasher flicks: Halloween Remake, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, Freddy vs. Jason, New Nightmare
- (At least) 5 monster movies: Sadako 3D, Sadako 3D 2, The Thing, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Dracula, Aliens, Alien Resurrection, The Deadly Mantis
- 1 film directed by Tobe Hooper: The Funhouse
(Why do I count the Sadako 3D films as monster flicks but not the other Ring stuff? In those films, the dangerous evil is more like a ghost... The Sadako 3D go the creature feature route and make a stupid monster out of it.)
