List of movies that features an acting role for a Playboy Playmate (spanning monthly Playmates from December 1953 to 2025). 

Note: Playboy ceased publishing a printed magazine in March 2020 and the final year of Playmates were “digital” Playmates until 2021. In 2025, they revived the print magazine with an annual issue and that Playmate being called the Playmate of the Year.

The notes section will include which Playmate(s) appeared in the movie and what role they were credited for. I refer to the model’s name as it appeared in their original Centerfold and acknowledge if they were billed with a different name or different spelling at the time of the movie’s release where possible or practical.

List gets periodically updated as new movies get added (or found) to Letterboxd. Any corrections or updates feel free to comment.

To compile the list, I combed the IMDb entries for each Playmate and listed everything they were credited for and where an entry on Letterboxd exists.

Documentaries where a Playmate meaningfully participated in the project are also included. Does not include a documentary where only archival footage is used (eg a Marilyn Monroe documentary made and produced long after she died typically isn’t on here) in general, but there are exceptions.

Some Playmates did also have careers behind the camera (such as writers, producers, makeup, director, etc.) but those films aren’t included unless they also acted in front of the camera too.

Does not include TV appearances (whether as a guest star or a regular cast member) where no Letterboxd entry exists.

Other stuff Playmates acted in but no Letterboxd entry exists includes music videos (Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” is the notable exception), adult films (only “culturally relevant” porn is currently in their database), certain TV specials, and a number of short films. If any of those turn up later on, I’m prepared to add them where possible.

This list also doesn’t include other models or celebrities who posed for Playboy but were never given the Playmate of the Month title.
