I’m so fucking angry, upset, but mostly exhausted from the utter shit show that is the media’s portrayal of the sex industry. This is my attempt to gather the most authentic, realistic, positive depictions of the sex industry in cinema. I’m not saying these films are without flaws or don’t have scenes or characters that aren’t anti-sex/whorephobic, but for the most part I find these films to remain authentic to the subject matter and don’t demonise the sex workers/sex venues/sex shops/sex shop staff/clients/etc featured, also I just genuinely (for the most part) respect and love these films.
