When I was a kid I skated to Blockbuster with my best friends. As we often did - we went to the horror section and one of them grabbed a copy of THE EVIL DEAD and said (and I quote), “This looks like something Jose would make.” 

So obviously I rented it and…

Well. I did it. I made one. I was a producer on an EVIL DEAD movie. I got to put some form of mark on a franchise that I hold near and dear to my heart.

I got to see the movie bring the house down at SXSW. I got to see people scream over scares that have been living with our team for over four years. I got to take my wonderful Fiancé to her first premiere. 

And I’ll never forget who I owe it to. My buddies back home who picked up a copy of EVIL DEAD ‘81 and said … this feels like Jose.
