A slapdash and silly Netflix Original horror movie from Thailand, Pawan Purijitpanya’s “Ghost Lab” is hardly poised to become an unexpected cult hit just because it’s available to watch in so many homes across the world. And yet, for people who’ve grown numb to the predictable rhythms of jumpy Hollywood schlock, there’s something faintly endearing about a vision of the afterlife as unpredictable as grief itself. Mourning someone isn’t sad all the time — the process can swing from romantic to delusional to funny so fast, even the most disparate feelings smudge together — and “Ghost Lab” reflects that through such wild tonal shifts that even someone like Bong Joon Ho seems like he’s coloring inside the lines by comparison.…
interesting concept with a few good scares, but this doesn't take long to turn into a complete mess
northern lights in a tropical country must be stunning
Imagine spending half of your life studying biology or basically human life and suddenly become curious on a topic that has absolutely no foundation and become obsessed with, that you are even willing to do horrendous things just to prove it. that's stupid lmao.
Ghost Lab has bombastic premise and there's the potential, but it doesn't fully explored. Spooky but silly, but somewhat entertaining. Great cast, by the way.
Didn't think it was too bad.
The beginning you have your pranks and funny moments.
Then it gets serious.
Overall, I thought it was an interesting film.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Me right before the moment my wavering interest in this film completely fizzled out: "Noooo Paris Intarakomalyasut, don't kill yourself, you're so sexy aha"
It starts off decently but then takes its manic-depressive tonal mishmash in static directions that, while occasionally amusing, never justify its bizarre creative and character decisions.
this movie is an insult to its audiences. it was made from presumptions that viewers don't want well-written background story, they want poorly choreograped, CGI action sequence, they don't want psychological horror, they want traditional horror with cheap jump-scares, they don't know anything about cinematic language so every piece of information needs to be put in the dialogue.
this movie dried my hope for thai cinema.
