I cried when the orphaned man said that because his mom had also died, and he felt like his historical ties were cut off, and his social roots were severed. Thinking of how many lineages were lost since this genocide started back in 1948 when my grandparents decided to leave their homeland to protect their own. I have so much to say about this film; it broke me, and I feel hopeless and helpless. Free Palestine! 🇵🇸
