As I'm realising more and more what a brilliant tool this is for exploring a country's cinema, I wanted to keep going and have a look at scandinavian films. Now on their own, in isolation, each of these countries wouldn't necessarily present a very strong top 100 films (for rating or in terms of accessibility), so I challenged myself to combine them and group them as one. So I combined the films of Denmark, Norway and Sweden by each countries own rating of themselves and each other. See the bottom if you're interested in the method I used.

This list doesn't include short films (less than 40 mins). Films must have more than 1,000 watches to be considered. Unlike the others, the list has a few documentaries, though I left them in as I deemed them to have an interesting or experimental nature that should allow them to stay.

How I did it:
It wasn't as straightforward as the other countries, as I couldn't query for multiple countries (films or ratings by) at once, so I had to collate the lists and find averages. To start with for each country, I gathered the ranking of each country's opinion on their films, i.e. for Denmark, I gathered the top Danish films, as rated by itself as well as Sweden and Norway. I then averaged the ranking of each film to get a representation of how the countries as a whole rank each countries films. But I then had to take into account the films rating, so I multiplied the films rating by the averaged ranking of the countries (which I normalised) to give a scaled rating based on the countries rankings of the films, to produce this list.
It's definitely not a perfect method, but I think it has produced a pretty good list. Though I'm open to any suggestions for improvements.
