I'd already decided that I wanted to try and watch a horror film every day for October when I came across this challenge. It's going to be interesting trying to stick to the rules but now that I'm employed somewhere that sells films, I might have an easier time finding stuff on the cheap that qualifies. Given that I also found this challenge pretty close to October 1st, I obviously don't have a set-out list of films to watch so I'll basically find them on the fly. It's also clear that one film can satisfy multiple criteria.
NOVEMBER 1ST 2023 EDIT: Obviously didn't get through the whole challenge in the allotted time but I'm still gonna fill out my list before the year ends anyway. I think that 18/31 ain't bad for a first go around without having it planned out prior.
