31/31
This is my third year doing spooky marathons on Letterboxd but the first where I'll try to follow the rules of the Hooptober challenge. My viewing choices are always depending on my mood so that makes it difficult to follow lists like this one, but I tried to take the rules as the starting point and adecuated them to my needs, adding some new ones for the movies I need for my Halloween to feel complete. This is my third year doing spooky marathons on Letterboxd but the first where I'll try to follow the rules of the Hooptober challenge. October is my best chance to watch all the horror I haven't seen the rest of the year so that's why you'll see very few rewatches.
Back in 2022 I watched a total of 48 movies so now I'll up the bet and start at 52. If I don't watch everything by October 31st I'll keep going until it's done. I'd be happy to extend Halloween until December if necessary.
Every movie I watch and is not contemplated on the original list will be added on the bottom after number 52. This year I'm far more busy so I can't promess a review for each one, but I'll try my best. Given the fact this year I actually have stuff to do (ik, feels so weird) I'm starting the challenge on September 17th in order to watch at least 31 movies before Halloween.
