While that list focuses on features, this list focuses on shorts. This is a list of my favorite short from every director with three or more shorts that I've logged here on Letterbox. A full list of every short from that director will be included in the notes. If I've seen 5+ shorts from them, there will instead be a link to their own separate list. The shorts are listed by number of shorts by the director I've seen.

I'm only using short films for this list. There are some directors who I've watched a mix of short and feature films from, but I will only be including the short films from them.

If I have seen multiple shorts from directors who have frequently worked together and have not seen shorts from either Director on their own, I will have one short represent both, and will mark it as such in the notes.

If I have seen a short where one of the directors has worked on their own, I will try to pick one of those instead.
