It was an integral education whose practices were modified over time, and they date back to civilizations prior to the Greeks, in which sexual contact did not always exist. The term "platonic love" derives precisely from the relationships between two men under these circumstances; it is the eros that transcends physical beauty and pleasure to become a divine love.

Call Me By Your Name is Elio's journey from adolescence to emotional maturity after meeting and falling in love with Oliver. But this is a story that goes beyond the fugacity of first love, it is the climax of "knowing very little about the things that matter" towards the exploration of an enigmatic universe that offers more questions than answers but which leads us to discover our essence.
