another year, another attempt. it's my fourth time joining and i can honestly say most of the movies here i would not find if not for this challenge; while others are cult classics i've been meaning to see for so long. had to cut my list down to 16 so i can actually commit to watching and reviewing them all. so thrilled to see everyone's horror picks!

now for my own personal requirements, i have added four filipino horror movies to watch. september and october have always been special to me; the former being the philippine film industry month, and the latter is the annual hooptober. for september, i will only be watching local (filipino) movies and will be seeing this additional four horror movies on the last week of the month.
