This Hooptober marks my 7th year participating in this annual horror marathon, a tradition that has become ingrained in my mind as the only proper way to start the spooky season. As is fitting for a lucky number, I feel that this list may be my most solid yet in terms of overall quality, while still containing a few stinkers for some much welcome spice. With each passing marathon I've been able to convince more of my friends to join in on spend their time watching some real hidden gems. I'm looking forward to seeing the variety of films they and everyone else chooses. I will be watching and reviewing every movie on this list, with the end order reflecting the order of viewing. Any additional movies I get to before October is through will be added as well.
