last year, i expanded my horror horizons by choosing movies i’d never thought to watch before. this year, i’m kind of going back to basics with my selections. you’ll find a lot of classics on this list, as well a few gems from recent years that i somehow missed.
i have some niche film obsessions, which means i sometimes forgo watching movies from “the canon”; either because i feel intimidated by them or i just forget that they’re classics for a reason.
i’m finally going to tackle Nightmare on Elm Street, Häxan, Psycho, Hellraiser, Plan 9 From Outer Space and, partly because we lost William Friedkin this month, The Exorcist.

And 1 Tobe Hooper Film (There must ALWAYS be a Hooper film)
