I’ve been doing Hooptober for 3 years, and I’ve yet to finish a full year. I think in the past I may have been too ambitious. 

Too dark. To long. Too fucked up. 

This year? The key is diversification. 

I picked some classics. Some I’ve seen before. Some I know what to expect. Some I’m guarantee to like. Some I know I’ll dislike and it fills me with dread. Some super weird. Some super traumatizing. Some Polish. 

So, with a peppering of camp like Phantom of the Paradise and The Beast Must Die in between horrors like Threads and O-bi O-ba, maybe this year I’ll finish it.
