So for the sake of consistency for this list, I've decided to only add films where it is a BIPOC main character who has their queerness or relationship be fundamental to the plot in some meaningful way.

NOTE: please don't use this list as a metric for the "quality" of these films. some of these are high art, some of these have mass appeal, some are nuanced and some play it safe with their depictions of BIPOC queerness. let this list act as resource for people with a variety of tastes, not for any one particular person
