Justin Price apparently directed 13 movies prior to The Mummy: Rebirth, including Dark Moon Rising, a movie that is most certainly very bad but somehow substantially less bad or at least a sizable bit more good-bad than this (mostly thanks to a few shining moments of Eric Roberts at his most unhinged/drunk/drunkhinged and the weirdo charm of trying to make a live-action anime on a shoestring). Yet despite such a prolific output, you can almost feel him trying to figure out how to frame shots as he goes, the camera bumbling around like a hapless lackey with the balaclava falling down over their eyes, the literal focus jockeying back and forth between the many thinly-drawn characters loosely based on the 1999 cinematic…
Continuing to watch this movie past the first two minutes was like vigorously pushing my fingers against my uvula and hoping I would aspirate my own vomitus. I believe this is and will always be the worst movie I have ever seen.
Wow, oh wow. If an 11 year old with an interest in mummies could make a film, this would be it. Honestly, this movie reminds me of backyard wrestling federations; terrible actors acting as if their incomprehensible lore is way cooler than it truly is. But seriously it’s fucking hilarious.
Not sure what genre this is and that goes into the next thing, it didn't know what it wanted and I was waiting for something exciting to happen. I really do come across some shit. It's a shame but then again, the film doesn't really care if I don't like it or not.
This has a lot more production value than I expected from a random Tubi movie with a 1.3 stars on IMDB or whatever it has.
It's pretty bad and boring, though, HOWEVER, there's one rude ass scene where a bunch of mummies brutally murder people so this movie is pretty cool.

The plot and dialogue are pure nonsense. Some of the lines sound like they were badly translated from another language. The props and costumes are incredibly cheap looking, and the aggressively bright lighting in the caves was irritating. Mummies that act like zombies appear from nowhere, and there are few terrible CGI beasties thrown into the mix.
Our heroes are doing some weak Nathan Drake and Lara Croft cosplay, and they have none of the charm or physical abilities of those characters. Fake Nathan performs some real awkward, laughable moves and fake Lara just says things.
The movie ends very suddenly, and I'm not sure what it was supposed to mean. I don't think they'll get the greenlight for a sequel.
A true gem of low budget creativity. We get all the classic action adventure comedy horror thriller historical epic classic tropes. Mainly, standing cave exposition from armed NPCs, teleportation rocks, toilet paper tents, Southern California Egypt, props from the Poundland Halloween aisle, CGI created with a smart fridge and of course the unending horror I experienced watching this disaster.
I can't believe I paid £1 for this.

Pros
-Well, the production value was certainly better than the last mummy movie I watched. There are some neat settings, like a history museum and a limestone cave.
-The mummies look kinda neat if you shoot them in low lighting. But, of course, the movie stupidly insists on showing too much in too bright a light.
Cons
-The dialogue made absolutely zero sense half the time. The main human villain absolutely REFUSED to finish a thought.
-The plot is...the plot quite simply doesn't exist. There is no plot. No coherent one anyway.
-The movie ends abruptly without any resolution or anything.
-The special effects are...special.
-The acting wouldn't cut it…
I don’t know what was worse: the nonsensical plot, the shit-house acting, or the moronic characters.

This is one of Justin Price’s best movies.
It’s not good but it is one of the besterwritten, acted, shot, edited and made when compared to everything else he has directed.
Oh my, here we go again. Another movie directed by Justin Price. Why, just why? To explain it for those who don't know. Justin Price directed (amongst other things, most likely on the same level) films like "Forsaken" and "The 13th Friday". Both film that are part of the worst films I have ever seen. And now he is back to take on one of my most favorite topics: ancient Egypt. Of course it was the topic that got my attention first. a no plot, garbage mix of really bad found assets and amateur acting.
-There's a creature asset that explodes into pixels and the render is so low resolution that they couldn't expand it any further and you can see the rectangle borders where the animation stops
-There's a separate creature that appears to be animated at a lower frame rate -- more like a stop motion 12fps -- but it looks like something from Sega Saturn.
-These may be the worst mummies I've ever seen on film
-The sound design is also a hodgepodge of found fx and music that usually doesn't make sense. There's a creaky door noise that is so out of place that I thought my kids…
