As a lifelong lover of most things French, including their incredible cinematic history, I created this challenge as a way to discover some new gems from the country where it all began with the Lumière brothers first paid cinematic presentation back in 1895.
There are prompts below as a guide, but honestly, just use these loosely as the main objective is to watch some great films and hopefully find a few new personal favourites along the way. If you want to watch more recent stuff, shorts, horror, animation, porn or anything else for that matter go for it.
