I walked in to see James Norrington get friendzoned again and walked out in tears to a devastatingly moving story.
i'm here solely for jack davenport playing a redcoat chasing after a blonde woman who leaves him for a man named will. man if i had a nickel... but moral of the story is she would've been better off single every man weighed her down astronomically
Ngl I only watched this to get my Jack Davenport as a Georgian Gentleman on a ship fix but I didn't realise he would literally be Norrington 2.0!
Everything else about this is just... bleak
The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant is a two-part TV movie that tells the true story of the titular Bryant, a young Cornish woman who was found guilty of stealing a bonnet and some food and sentenced to transportation to Botany Bay penal colony in Australia. Faced with both the harsh and unforgiving regime and starvation thanks to unyielding crops at the far side of the world, Bryant hatched herself an audacious escape plan, making off for the Dutch colony of Timor some 4,000 miles away on a small fishing boat with her husband, her two children and several other prisoners. Not long after their arrival, Bryant was recaptured and dispatched back to London to stand trial, losing her family…
in which a gorgeous blonde woman walks all over british javert before sailing 3500 miles away in a tiny boat just to get away from him what a baddie
Cried my eyes out for 3 hours straight
What a story what a cast what an amazing and powerfull acting
Oh my god this story is so fucking sad I couldn't convince my self while watching it to relax that it was just acting, yes acting a real events happened in history but still is acting they were not the real people of the story I really really felt like it was them the actors they were the real people.
Every single one of the main cast did very very fucking well oh my god I don't think i will ever get over this series.
CAN'T EXPLAIN ENOUGH ABOUT HOW GREAT THE ACTING IN THIS WAS.
If you liked Commodore James Norrington in Pirates of the Carebbean then you'll love Lieutenant Ralph Clarke, especially since in this film he is actually touching a woman intimately on camera...
