Welcome to Around the World in 30 Days! In this challenge, you'll travel the world vicariously through film by watching movies from a different country each day throughout the month of April. You can do this challenge in any way you'd like, whether you wanna learn about new cultures, explore different parts of the world, tackle a specific genre from an international lens, or whatever else! The goal is really just to explore the world through film, in what way you want to do that is completely up to you. Here's how the challenge will work:

Movie Selection:
-Day 1: Start with a film from your own country
-Days 2-30: Pick a country adjacent to the previous day's country and watch a film from there.

Guidelines:
-You can cross the ocean if you'd like, as long as you can draw a straight line from one country to the next. (The term adjacent is pretty loose, I just want people to enjoy themselves!)
-Try to pick films that were actually produced in and by the country you're choosing and not just American productions set in a different country

Feel free to watch as many as you'd like, whether you watch 30 movies or 5 as part of this challenge, I'd just be happy that anyone participated at all! More than anything though, I hope you gain something from this challenge, whether that's some new favourite films or a new appreciation for other cultures and all that our wonderful world has to offer.
