The Image Awards were established by the NAACP as an alternative then, since their awards are voted on by their members. This is a list of the films that have been honored by the NAACP and have also managed to attain Oscar recognition.

The only films to have won the top prizes at both the NAACP Image Awards and the Oscars are Crash and 12 Years a Slave.
