I caught the tail end of this earlier and I usually don't review movies unless I've seen the entire thing but I don't think I will ever willingly come back to this again. I guess it's good to be reminded that fake movies exist sometimes. This felt randomly generated. Vernon Wells (mohawk guy from Road Warrior) shows up as a Spanish conquistador and everyone stands around giving over the top theatrical performances while the camera sits firmly in one place and the most overwrought saccharine music blasting over everything like a marshmallow dipped into a nasty chocolate fountain at a chain buffet. White people have it so hard man :'((( being descended from the oppressor is hard work* 😭

II can't say I've ever entertained the thought of pursuing El Dolorado, but I will say that this movie does a reasonable job of treating the lost city as a sort of hub between the natural and the demonic. Both are aware of the power that it holds, which is a little underwhelming in terms of how it is implemented, because while the scenes that involve the conquistadors attempting to gain power over the shaman and his tribe illustrate the lure of El Dolorado; these moments overshadow the point at which the lure of the city is brought to light in the present-day scenes. Maybe I'm just pointing out something that doesn't really matter, but you may find it odd…
Cons: Nonsensical plot, crummy acting, thoroughly unlikable characters, and shabby animated sequences.
Pros: This gets a star only because the scenery is beautiful and because the guy from Mad Max chewed that scenery real good.
Mala película de aventuras con tintes de thriller. Prácticamente nada qué destacar de ella: una mala historia (la tesis podría ser rescatable quizás con otro tratamiento), personajes absurdos, pésimas actuaciones, malos efectos y hasta un afiche engañoso. No me gustó en absoluto.

This is one of the best asylum films ive ever seen. I dont know why this man constantly looks like he is cumming his trousers though.
When you say 'action-adventure'.... does it really have either of those? No, no, sadly, it doesn't. Not really.
Way better than I expected it to be... Some parts were actually pretty neat!!! I wish it has gone a bit more mystical, but there were some cool flashback type things of main character's Inquisitor ancestor who massacred mad ppl trying to find Eldorado, and eventually sacrificing bood to their gods. Just cool stuff to see on screen, ya know?
This was hella solid, is what I'll say about it lol. Its wasn't great, but there were some borderline really good moments and most of the acting was fine. I felt the climax ended up simultaneously underwhelming and not too shabby, and that the last few seconds made hope for more, but also kind of positive for it have left me enjoying it instead of dragging out until it wasn't fun anymore lol.
Another worthwhile dollarstore pick up, but not one that i'll be letting take up any shelf space... Into a zippy binder she goes!!!!
