I wanna get back into watching films again. I do however work a fulltime job now, so, we will see if this is at all doable, but at least this will guide me to what I should watch. These are really some excellent prompts. Huge thanks to this month's host Jenna Morrison for hosting this month.

4. I enjoy watching documentaries but don’t watch enough of them. Watch a documentary from your watchlist. 

5. One of my favourite film podcasts at the moment is The Villain Was Right. Watch a film covered in the podcast.

6. I have been gradually making my way through the Women Directors: Top 250 Narrative Feature Films. Watch one of the films on the list.

7. If you regularly take part in the Scavenger Hunts you probably have a ‘graveyard’ list of the films you didn’t get around to watching. Watch one from your list, or someone else’s if you don’t have your own. My list.

8. Watch a film featuring an actor you would cast as the next James Bond.

9. I am taking part in Logan's 52 Stars of Star Wars challenge this year. Watch a film starring one of the stars listed (and create your own list if you want to take part). 

10. My most watched actor on Letterboxd is Samuel L. Jackson. Watch a film starring Jackson.

11. Watch a film written and/or directed by black women. This list may be helpful.

12. Lynne Ramsay is one of my favourite directors. Watch one of her films, or one from her 50 favourite films.

13. Watch a horror film on Friday the 13th. If you dare.

14. Watch a film from the year you turned 5.

15. Watch a film starring someone from one of your favourite tv shows.

16. We are halfway through a long month. Watch a film under 90 minutes long.

17. The legendary Betty White would have been 100 years old today. Watch a film starring Betty to celebrate.

18. Watch a film adapted from a book you haven’t read.

19. The BAFTA nominations will be announced today. Watch a previous Best Film winner.

20. It’s David Lynch’s birthday today. Watch one of his movies.

21. Teen/coming-of-age movies from the 90’s is a popular prompt but what about a teen film from before 1990? 

22. Watch a Chinese film to celebrate Chinese New Year.

23. Watch a non-English LGBT+ film.

24. The 5 Oscar nominees for Best International Feature will be announced today. Watch one of the 92 films on the longlist.

25. To celebrate Burns Night, which honours Scottish poet Robert Burns, watch a movie filmed in Scotland (bonus points if it’s not either Trainspotting film). This list may help you. The traditional haggis and Ceilidh dancing are optional.

26. Watch a film by a director you would want to direct the biopic of your life.

27. Watch a film starring an actor from the film you are most looking forward to in 2023.

28. Browse by your favourite genre on Letterboxd and watch one of your first 5 unwatched in the list.

29. Today is the last day of Sundance Film Festival. Watch a previous Grand Dury Prize: Dramatic winner. 

30. The first film festival I ever attended was Tilda Swinton’s Ballerina Ballroom Cinema of Dreams. Watching old films alongside Tilda while sat on beanbags eating homemade cakes is not your typical film festival experience. Watch a film featuring Tilda Swinton.

31. LGBT+ History Month begins tomorrow in the UK. To celebrate, watch a film from this list (or any other UK queer film).
