I had very little expectations going into this movie and feared I might “puff puff pass” on it. But to my delight it turned out to be a “dank” little indie treat. The dialogue between the main characters was “smokin” enough to keep you interested in them. The kills were “dope” as they combined practical effects and CG effects pretty well for being super low budget. I’ll definitely be “rolling” this film every “4/20” from now on.
4/20 Massacre is basically a stoner comedy, a lesbian slasher horror comedy, and honestly, that already sounds like my kind of stupid.
For a movie built around weed, woods and a killer in camouflage, I really liked just spending time with these girls. They feel believable as friends, their conversations have an easy hangout quality, and yes, three of them being very beautiful never exactly hurts.
Donna is the obvious 4/20 ambassador here, smoking more than most but probably less than some.
Definitely a wake-and-bake—rise-with-red-eyes type if there ever was one. Puff puff, no bang bang.

I was genuinely sad when they started to get killed off especially the big stoner of the group 😢
This a better than average modern slasher. Never once does it try to be something more than it is. A group of women go into the mountains to camp. The ideal weekend is ripped away from them as a killer that is dressed in a Swamp Thing costume. The most impressive kill was a bong through a woman's mouth into the back of her skull.
I enjoyed this, granted, my expectations weren't too high.
This was watched as part of the Spring Forward Into A Trash Fire 2024 Challenge
I liked this one... BUT.. they could of at least let the lesbians have sex first.... geez, not even a boob or nothing. Have to take points off for that... 🤣

Wo die Leute hier einen soliden 3 Sterne Slasher sehen ist mir komplett unschlüssig.
Irgendwo im nirgendwo beschließt eine Gruppe Frauen in den Wald zu fahren, um den Geburtstag einer Freundin mittels Campingausflug zu feiern. Blöd nur das, die etwas vom Weg abkommen und in das Terrain einer Marihuana-Farm stoßen, wo sich auch noch ein Killer herumtreibt.
Zuerst mal ist das alles hier eine vollkommene arschlangweilige Suppe, wo bis in den letzten 20 Minuten überhaupt nix passiert. Stattdessen bekommt man Dialoge zum Abwinken, während man irgendwo im kalifornischen Wald rumhängt.
Zu gute halten kann man dem Film nur, dass die Schauspielerinnen überraschend in Ordnung sind und der ein oder andere Splatter Effekt sich wirklich sehen lassen…
