they should do a remake of Cannibal Holocaust but with just James Cordon as the american film crew.
a squirrel sings boulevard of broken dreams and a rooster has an existential crisis about the meaning of life, so honestly i had a good time
“i liked and i watched it on the fourth of july and i got to see fireworks. my favorite character is peter”
To be honest, I was unprepared by the level of meta humor and satirical undertones in this sequel. Characters do, on more than one occasion, go so far as to break the fourth wall. While this occasionally became distracting, the film ultimately managed to overcome these issues while still providing a number of humorous moments. I really appreciated how James Corden made fun of himself, acknowledging the unfathomable loathing that many people have for him.
While I admit that Peter Rabbit and his quest for self-discovery is not exactly an original premise, I did enjoy the story's well-written, almost subversive tone. As usual, the supporting cast provides the bulk of the film's humor, whether it is the rooster, the…
I didn’t expect this to turn into an Ocean’s Eleven type heist flick with rabbits, there’s also a subplot about a rooster having an existential crisis over the Sun that is particularly entertaining.
domhnall gleeson getting beat up and also being a father figure is something very personal to me

Thomas and Bea are now married and living with Peter and his rabbit family. Bored of life in the garden, Peter goes to the big city, where he meets shady characters and ends up creating chaos for the whole family.
These movies are absolutely fine for the audience they are shooting for. Sure, some of the humor is a bit brash, but the overall intent is there. I understand a lot of people hate on Corden, but he is solid in this film. The entire cast is fine, and it helps that there are two extremely competent human actors at the center. The animation that is meshed in with the live action setting is actually…
My local AMC still has this gigantic poster advertising this damn movie. Covers an entire upper wall, smug James Corden rabbit is overlooking us lowly theater goers. It’s like it’s reminding us that the effects of the pandemic will never truly go away. Really says a lot when I don’t even think Disney could make something this pandering and embarrassing.
Update 6/22/23: its still up
