Animal Among Us isn’t the movie I thought it was going to be. I expected lots of action and tons of scares. The movie is neither, but the good news, it is still very watchable. What helps is the well written script and a not-so-typical ending. There’s a lot of good, even if it is missing boobs, gore and non-stop action. It says a lot that I didn’t get what I wanted out of Animal Among Us, yet I still feel satisfied. Definitely, one of the best films from UNCORK’D ENTERTAINMENT.

Years after the unsolved murder of two girls, a group converging on quiet campgrounds long rumored the home of a Bigfoot find history repeating itself...

Decent script and familial switcheroo can't help this feature-length stretch of boredom. Favoring bland expository revelations, cleverness wears thin at the climax when Bigfeet mayhem never breaks out. Larisa Oleynik tries her best imparting subtlety as a counselor with secrets and Don Frye plays to burly type. Director John Woodruff also delivers a great looking picture; certainly above of what's expected from Uncork'd's catalog baseline. Still, needs way more animal among us. Watched via Uncork'd Entertainment's DVD.

Not a great movie. It just jams stuff in and expects the viewer to make sense of it, or to even care. Too much happening, but also not enough happening, if you know what I mean? Mainly I spent my time enjoying Larisa Oleynik's performance and wishing she was in a better movie.

Heather Tom has a very minor role and one of the ladies from House of 1000 Corpses is in it.

God that main sister was the worst, Poppy was kind of hot though so that and the mask (though limited) was the only take away, many fake finger guns were made at the end of this.. I was so done with this..

Hope there aren't any more murders... Just kidding, of course there are. Larisa "Alex Mack" Oleynik and Heather "Young and the Restless et al" Tom are on board, as is former Pride FC favorite Don "Godzilla: Final Wars" Frye, for mostly pedestrian results.

This movie sucks.....it's not a Bigfoot movie!....I'm not gonna put up spoiler alert because Damnit it was advertised as a Bigfoot movie!...you pay five bucks to watch a Bigfoot movie and end up with a half assed slasher film!....get the fuck outta here
