My third year of Hooptober and I love it. I watch a lot of horror films anyway but to be part of something that celebrates horror is always a joy. The other wonderful thing about this is that it gives me a reason to watch films that I may normally ignore and revisit films I have not seen in decades. The late 80s and early 90s were my peak years and I consumed every film I could get my hands on and am the first to admit there was a lot of mediocre and dare I say rubbish amongst it. But I love trashy films. Bring it on. I will inevitably do more than the 31, not trying to be clever, I just have a bit of spare time on my hands at the moment.
