'Tis the season! At least 31 horror movies in 47 days to help steer the journey through my favorite time of the year. Check out Cinemonster's seasonal call to arms (and pitchforks and torches) here.

As per usual, all watches will be first time watches. Official viewing begins on September 15th. My October is already stacking up with some personal events so we'll see how I do this year. Any bonus watches will be added to the list after Mortuary and notated as such. The extra credit isn't really tickling my fancy this year--we'll see if I decide to tackle it. Some Closing Thoughts:

Despite having a pretty rigorous work schedule and some obligations I was able to get to all but one title on my list this year. I did fit in an extra watch and would be able to gerrymander my list to hit all the requirements but I'm just going to let it lie. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my picks this year and it may be the highest rated Hooptober to date; some of these will be appearing in my top ten for the year. One bummer is I wasn't able to continue my stupid tradition of watching a Vegas set horror movie ON Halloween, which I actually had set up to meet a requirement this year. I got back from a trip on Halloween evening and immediately headed out to a party which was actually a blast and something I had done in a really long time, so I'm really not too bummed.
