Alright, sure. About 50% of this is funny, and that’s a number I can live with.
It feels like they shot a lot of scenes, and didn’t know what order they should go. The Jermaine Jackson bit should’ve been cut entirely, for example. But through law of averages there’s enough that works- the Kim Wayans scenes are gold.
Overall I’m glad the Wayans got the last word and not David Zucker. His solo movies just aren’t good!
I can’t say these specials have done anything for me. It’s certainly not a disaster like Season 20 was, but still not very good. More and more I find myself wishing it all ended with Stick of Truth, as that was the best possible final bow for the series.
