The wonder that is Hooptober returns! This is my list for Cinemonster's 9th Hooptober, an awesome challenge dedicated to the love of horror film. This is my 7th year doing this, and it's been an awesome trip.

I usually have a personal goal of 60 films, but because of life this year, that's definitely not happening. I'm going to go for 40 this year, and I'll be happy if I get there. Cinemonster is really challenging my horror comfort zone this year, especially with one of the bonus films, but hopefully I'll get there.

There are currently three rewatches on this list - Dagon, The Phantom of the Opera 1925, and Pet Sematary 2019. At some point I'll probably also get to Rocky Horror and Nightmare Before Christmas as annual watches.
